Addressing Fan Blade and Motor Shaft Fit Issues

Published: November 29, 2024 Author: Mike Chung Last updated: February 21, 2025

Challenge:

We identified an issue where fan blades were not properly fitting onto the motor shaft.

The screws couldn’t be fully inserted, causing excessive vibration and loud noise during operation.

Solution:

We retested the fan blade dimensions to ensure they matched the motor shaft.

After confirming there were no size mismatches, we instructed workers to clean any leftover powder coating residue inside the fan blades.

This thorough cleaning ensured that the blades could be properly fitted onto the motor shaft, resolving the noise and vibration issue.
