Freight Cost

Single vs Double Packing: What It Does to Your Freight Cost

Putting two fans in one carton can lower the shipping and customs cost of every unit. An illustrative example with $10,000 total shipping and customs fees per container:

1 unit per carton

Units per container~1,400
Cost per unit~$7.14

2 units per carton

Units per container~2,400
Cost per unit~$4.17
Which to choose? Retail chains usually need one fan per color box. For wholesale or project orders, two units per carton, or SKD / CKD, can save more. Actual figures are calculated by model and carton size.

How We Protect Fans in Transit

Every part that can bend, scratch or crack is packed with its own protection before the carton is closed.

Motors & shafts

Motors and motor shafts are protected separately so they arrive undamaged.

Grilles & blades

Grille and blade sets are packed together, matched by size.

Rods & bases

Rods and bases are packed to protect the finish and save container space.

Controls & frames

Controls, frames and exhaust fan shutters get extra protection.

Inner packing

Internal supports, bags and separators stop parts moving in the carton.

Export cartons

Reinforced export cartons are available for long routes and heavy models.

  • Batch delivery based on your demand
  • Support for distributors and importers who restock through the season

Shipping space ran short

A carrier cut capacity and ready fans could not be loaded for about 10 days. We used our contacts at the shipping company to secure space, and the fans arrived without further delay.

FAQ

Packaging & Loading Questions

Quick answers for buyers planning a shipment. More questions are answered on our FAQ page

Quality inspection of electric fans before export
How many fans fit in a 40HQ container?

It depends on the model and packing. As a reference, a 26-inch industrial pedestal fan in SKD loads about 1,050 pcs and a 20-inch high-velocity floor fan at one piece per carton about 1,150 pcs. We confirm the exact figure for your model before booking.

Should I choose 1 unit or 2 units per carton?

One unit per color box suits retailers who sell from the shelf. Two units per carton saves space and lowers freight and customs cost per unit, which suits wholesale and project orders.

Can I mix different fan models in one container?

Yes. We plan a mixed-model container from the confirmed carton size of each model. The MOQ is 1,000 pcs per model.

Do you ship LCL or only full containers?

Samples and small mixed shipments can go LCL, with parts protected by group and palletizing when suitable. A 20GP or 40HQ container gives the best price.

When do you confirm the final loading quantity?

After the packing specification is confirmed and before booking. We review the model mix and carton arrangement, then send you the loading plan.
