2. Quality Control Components

Plug & Power Cord

Plug
  • Appearance: Clear writing, certification mark, power cord, and plug appearance should be intact and without damage.
  • Electrical Strength: Ensuring the power cord’s strength through a series of tests, including water immersion and twisting.
  • Structural Inspection: Measurements and checks for plug dimensions and thickness.

Closed Terminal

  • Appearance: Ensuring an intact appearance with no chipping, complete, and consistent structure.
  • Flame Retardant: Inspection for flame retardant properties using manual and visual methods.

Motor

Motor
  • Appearance: Intact shape, no obvious defects, bright electrophoresis, and uniform coating.
  • Low Voltage Start: Can start smoothly at 110V voltage under no load condition.
  • Noise: No abnormal noise during operation.
  • Input Power: Motor’s input power meets order requirements.
  • Electrical Strength: 1800V 3s 5mA, no breakdown, no flashover.
  • Swing Head Test: Swing head flexible, left and right uniform.
  • Thermal Fuse: Ensuring the thermal fuse is intact, with no chipping or cracks.

Capacitor

  • Appearance: Smooth surface, no burrs, no obvious shrinkage marks.
  • Insulation Test: Insulation test between capacitor poles and shell, 100MΩ above (500V megohmmeter).

Timer

  • Appearance: Intact shape, no cracking, complete and clear characters.
  • Operation: Flexible rotation after installation, resets to zero.

Fan Blade

  • Appearance/Size: Intact appearance, smooth surface, no obvious defects or shrinkage marks.
  • Balance Check: No obvious vibration.

Grid

  • Appearance: Smooth surface, no obvious burrs, desoldering, or other defects.
  • Size Check: Meets template requirements.

Switch

Switch
  • Appearance: Intact shape, no cracking, complete and clear characters.
  • Operation: Light operation, reliable action, good contact performance.
  • Size: Actual assembly is good.
  • Electrical Strength: 1800V, 5s, 10mA no breakdown, no flashover.

Plastic Parts

  • Appearance: Smooth surface, no obvious burrs, cracks; material color should be uniform, no obvious color difference.
  • Size Check: Actual assembly.

Synchronous Motor

  • Appearance: Intact shape, no obvious defects, bright electrophoresis, and uniform coating.
  • Low Voltage Start: Can start smoothly at 110V voltage under no load condition.
  • Noise: No abnormal noise during operation.
  • Input Power: Input power is 4W.
  • Electrical Strength: 1800V 1s 5mA No breakdown, no flashover.
  • Installation Size: Actual assembly.

Internal Wiring

  • Appearance: Smooth surface, no scratches, damage; clear and complete characters.
  • Size: Wire core cross-section size and length meet order requirements.
  • Insulation Test: 2500V 3S 5mA no breakdown or flashover between L/N and grounding wire.

Carton

  • Size: Consistent with drawing dimensions.

3. Inspection Methods and Standards

At SF, we use various inspection techniques, such as visual inspection, insulation tester, micrometer, caliper, and others.

These methods are aligned with international standards to guarantee the reliability and quality of our electric fans.

The inspection is classified into categories like MIN, CR, MAJ, ensuring a targeted approach based on the importance of the component.
